Course description
The objective of the “ Software Project Management” course is to provide framework and knowledge of Project Management from planning, tracking, monitoring through to project closure.
Also, provide proven project managements skills that are necessary for implementing solution to market on time and meeting its intended objectives.
Concepts presented in this course are coupled theoretical knowledge with practical, applied and structured exercises, and workshops. At the end of the session, participants can apply the knowledge and techniques taught to real-life projects, by virtue of which they generate usable results, or to a case study which they select.
This course focuses on technical aspects of project management skills and not on people management skills, financial techniques, or product management .

• Understand the project management “best practices” that is generally accepted by the Project Management Body of Knowledge ( PMI ), USA
• With a step-by-step approach of planning and managing projects of any size.
• To define projects and develop reliable and realistic plan to achieve the desired outcome in a systematic way
• Understand different proven techniques for tracking, assessing and communicating project status
